I am a senior hospital scientist in the Diagnostic Pathology Unit of Concord Hospital, Sydney. I have worked in both Haematology and Biochemistry for most of my career. I recently completed a Masters at Charles Sturt University, the dissertation is the subject of this presentation, to be published in the journal Pathology later this year.

Currently a haematology lecturer in the School of Medical Sciences RMIT University Indu took a very active role in the teaching and supervision of Honours and international exchange students undertaking projects in the haematology laboratory over last 6 years. With more than 20 years of practical experience gained as a Medical Scientist in diagnostic laboratories in Hong Kong and Melbourne she completed PhD in the field of haemostasis, nutrition and cardiovascular disease from Discipline of Laboratory Medicine, School of Medical Sciences at RMIT University.
