The Genetic Regulation of Cerebral Cortex Development
Anne K. Voss completed her doctoral thesis in Hannover, Germany. After post-doctoral positions at Cornell University, Ithaca, NY, USA and at the Max-Planck-Institute of Biophysical Chemistry in Göttingen, Germany, Anne established her laboratory at the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research in Melbourne. Anne investigates the genetic regulation embryonic development and adult stem cells. |
Hydatidform Moles: an Update
Dominique graduated with a BScMLS from RMIT in 1990 and completed a MBA from RMIT in 1999. Dominique has worked in both the private and public sectors for the last 19 years. She has had experience in a number of varied roles including Senior Scientific positions in Histology and Cytology, Quality and Medical Sales. Her most challenging and rewarding role so far has been parenthood. Her hobbies include being an active member of the Altona Life Saving Club, belly dancing and writing. |

A/Prof David Finkelstein is part of a research team at the Mental Health Research Institute developing new drugs for Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s diseases. Of particular interest is how pharmaceuticals influence the micro-anatomical structure and function of the brain. |
