  • A/Prof Sepehr Tabrizi, The Royal Women's Hospital

Dr Sepehr Tabrizi is a senior scientist in the Molecular Microbiology Laboratory of the Royal Women’s Hospital and is an Associate Professor at Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, University of Melbourne. He has been extensively involved in sexually transmitted infection research with excess of 100 publications mainly in molecular application of STI diagnosis.

  • Stephen R Davis, Women's & Children's Hospital, Adelaide

Stephen Davis is a Senior Medical Scientist in the Mycology Unit of the Women's & Children's Hospital in Adelaide, and has had a number of papers published in peer reviewed journals, including some original research. He was originally trained in Mycology by Mrs Kaminski, the eminent Mycologist, and has worked with Doctor David Ellis for many years. He is an adjunct lecturer at the University of South Australia, and has conducted several well-received workshops and lectures over the years.

Professor John Davies is Head of the Department of Microbiology at Monash University. He is internationally recognised for his research on Neisseria species, and also has research projects investigating low-level vancomycin resistance in Staphylococcus aureus, and mycobacterial infections. He has extensive experience in bacterial genomics and regulation of gene expression.
