I am a biomedical scientist with more than twenty years experience in multi-skilled hospital pathologies. Having obtained MSc in Histopathology in India, I started working at Hong Kong Adventist Hospital clinical laboratory in 1984, was In Charge of Haematology for 5 years followed by managing whole laboratory for 3 years before moving to Melbourne on completing another Masters from Charles Sturt University, Australia in 1998. Since than I have been Academic and Research supervisor in Haematology, School of Medical Science at RMIT University having finished PhD, besides working part time at biochemistry department of Melbourne Pathology and at Cabrini Hospital Pathology since 2001 as Multiskilled Scientist.
The primary area of my research involves studies evaluating oxidative stress due to exercise or obesity and the preventative role of antioxidants on thrombotic risk factors such as platelet hyperactivity and insulin resistance.

Robyn is an Advanced Specialist in Haematology at the central laboratory for Pathology Queensland, located at the Royal Brisbane and Womens Hospital. Her specialities and interest are in cellular and malaria morphology.
