Mr Bart Currie is an Infectious Diseases Physician at Royal Darwin Hospital and Professor in Medicine at the Northern Territory Clinical School, Flinders University. He is also Head of the Tropical and Emerging Infectious Diseases Division of the Menzies School of Health Research at Charles Darwin University. Areas of interest include clinical and epidemiological aspects of tropical and emerging infections, development of treatment guidelines and clinical toxinology.

Modelling the Impact of an Influenza Pandemic
  • Jacqueline Martin, Australian & New Zealand Intensive Care Society

Dr Jacqueline Martin is a medical scientist who worked as Research Manager for the Australian & New Zealand Intensive Care Society (ANZICS) where she was responsible for the collection and analysis of intensive care data. This data enabled modelling of the preparedness of Australian and New Zealand intensive care units (ICUs) for an influenza pandemic. Jacqueline is currently working as a senior policy adviser in Workforce Innovation section of the Service & Workforce Planning Branch, Department of Human Services Victoria.
