  • Dr Peter P Vervaart, Royal Hobart Hospital

Peter Vervaart is Principal Scientist at the Royal Hobart Hospital in Tasmania. He has a PhD in Clinical Chemistry/Immunology and is a Fellow of the Australasian Association of Clinical Biochemists of which he is also Tasmanian Education representative. He also has conjoint appointments with the Universities of NSW and Tasmania.

  • Dr Zhong X Lu, Melbourne Pathology

Dr Zhong Lu is a Chemical Pathologist currently working at Melbourne Pathology as well as at Southern Cross Pathology, Monash Medical Centre. She completed also a Master Degree in Human Nutrition at Deakin Unviersity and a PhD in Epidemiology and Preventive Medicine at Monash Medical Centre.

Mr Andrew Wootton is Senior Lecturer in Clinical Biochemistry at RMIT University and before this he was Principal Scientist in Biochemistry at the Royal Melbourne Hospital. He has been establishing a reference laboratory for measuring vitamin D and has also been conducting research into its metabolism in the skin.
