After 15 years at the Royal Children’s and Royal Melbourne Hospitals, later specialising in protein chemistry and porphyria testing, Craig completed an MSc at Melbourne University and joined Melbourne Pathology to become Senior Scientist in the Immunoserology and Molecular Pathology Department. His major interests involve molecular biology and detection of pathogens by PCR. |

Sue has worked with the RCPA Immunology Quality Assurance Program since it was established in the Department of Immunology, Allergy and Arthritis in 1988. Sue has overseen the NATA accreditation of the facility as a Proficiency Testing Scheme Provider and has been Program Manager since 2004. |

A native of "old" South Wales, Gerard undertook undergraduate studies in Cardiff before accepting a research position in The Royal Postgraduate Medical School at London's Hammersmith Hospital where, in addition to research into rheumatoid disorders, he gained a MSc in Microbiology from Birkbeck College (University of London). He later gained his PhD in autoimmune disorders from the University of Otago (N.Z.), before migrating to Austrlia in 1982. Here, he has performed roles in research and service provision at a number of institutions including The Royal Adelaide Hospital, The Repatriation General Hospital (Heidelberg), The Peter MacCallum Cancer Institute and The Austin Hospital. |
